2009 Schulmania - New ZealandState Visit

Rotorua - Phone Home to Devonshire

Internet access was patchy or expensive, but the delegation guide had remembered the password to the wireless network of a motel he had stayed at several weeks before...   so if you then park outside the motel, on subsequent trips to the area, you can well um...   access the internet...   if you park outside...

The delegation 'phones home' using a new discovery....   Schulmaskype.

The delegation was particularly interested in this street name which reminded them of their pet monkey at home in Devonshire.

Later in the day the delegation stopped by another unknown technology in Schulmania...   "Geothermal Power"   however on learning of this new and 'warm' technology,  plans are underway to investigate how these 'steam pipes' could be placed under the cat baskets back in Schulmania to provide toasty beds on chilly nights.

They did however like the structure known as the 'cooling tower' it reminded them of something they had once seen long ago in a dream...

The main power source of a geothermal power station is a substance known as "Enriched Devonium".

The delegation outside the Ohaaki Geothermal Power station...   sorry the pic got a little "out of focus".

Well the delegation guide did attempt to get a better picture that was more in focus, however the pipes let out a burst of hot steam precisely when the picture was taken...    oh well.
