The Beehive is the popular name for the Executive Wing of the parliamentary complex because of the buildings shape. This is where the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers have offices, and where the Cabinet meets.
The structure has four underground floors and ten above. The Beehive was designed in 1964 and completed in 1979. It stands 72 meters (240 feet) tall. |
