Frontier Plans

The state visit to Schulmauckland has inspired the Schulminion government to broaden settlement to the southwestern frontier. At present, the southwesternmost city is Hestorbia. Thanks to an expedition funded by Princess Katherine, the Wirdleonia River has been traced back to its source. A site has been selected by the City Planning Office at the western end of the navigable section of the river. From this point westward, the river forks into smaller streams which can only be navigated with light recreational boats or by raft.

It is hoped that the reach toward the southwest will capitalize upon the recent state visit.  In addition to new development interests, the new site will serve as a key river transit hub, serving as the western terminus of marine traffic and jumping-off point for goods and settlers coming and going from the greater Western Wirdleonia region. Development plans are already underway and construction is expected to begin as soon as materials arrive by boat from Robinia.
