The new capital of East Atkinos has been unveiled! I have directed the City Planning Office to develop a new type of town, having urban spaces and natural areas working in tandem. See Schulmania Volume 2 Page 86 for details.

The Schulmanator has been nominated for the Liberty Valley Planning Commission. He and I have discussed this and have developed his platform. It calls for the following key points:

 

1. Full and equal rights for all feline citizens and compliance with the terms of the Coronation Accord

2. A repeal of all taxes on Fancy Feast and catnip transactions

3. Zoning for small game hunting preserves for felines in all neighborhoods

4. Community-access litterboxes and scratching posts no less than one per three city blocks

5. Bureau of Feline Affairs recognition of the feline population of Liberty Valley

Do you have advice for which way the team should travel at the fork in the river? Left side or right side? Help them find the source of the river!

I am searching for a group of extraordinary explorers and adventurers to go on a quest. As you know, I have established the capital of my region, Robinia, on the banks of the mighty Wirdleonia River. We know that this great river flows in a meandering path through South and East Wirdleonia, most likely emptying into the vast salt ocean to the east. But, we have yet to find its source. Somewhere to the west is the source of this great river. Traveling there will be strenuous, as the currently travel strongly to the east. Only the hardiest and bravest need apply for this historic and groundbreaking exploration expedition. The goal of this expedition is to follow the river west to its source. Along the way, mapping the route and noting the flora and fauna found. Minerals and other natural resources are to be investigated and full reports to be made available upon return. Colonial officials will accompany the expedition in hopes of finding suitable sites in the west for settlement.

Acknowledgment/Waiver-  By signing up to be a part of this expedition, you agree that you understand the risks inherent in undertaking such a journey and that you are prepared for the rigors which are ahead. You also agree to the pay rate of 1.63 schulmonetas per day and that, upon your successful return, you will participate in a ceremony and receive a medal and commendation from the Regency of Wirdleonia for your efforts. You agree to keep the medal polished and flash it around a lot to make people envious of your valor.
