    Fortress of Peace

The Wirdleonia River is the longest in the country and is a vital transit link. Protecting this resource is vital to national security. For this reason, I have commanded the BFA Military to build and maintain a island fortress off the coast proximate to the mouth of the river to protect the mighty Wirdleonia from potential enemy attack. Work will begin immediately. Work will be coordinated with the Royal Schulmania Navy, which will deploy several vessels to the site.

    Wirdleplex Developments

I am pleased to announce that the BFA has been developing three main new settlements in The Wirdleplex. These three will not be military outposts, but can provide ancillary support to the BFA military as needed. More will follow.

    War of Attrition

There are signs that the war of attrition on the western front appears to be shifting. Harrassing enemy vessels bound for the Occupation Zone has cut down on reinforcements, allowing Schulminion forces to regroup to stall enemy advances. Additionally, added military capacity, both in personnel and materiel, has blunted multiple enemy thrusts into the heart of western Devonshire. BFA Military recruits from Harar have completed training in The Wirdleplex and have been assigned to front line roles, bolstering beleaguered SNM forces in our battered positions. Juding from past actions, the enemy is likely to try some form of large attack to punch through our defenses. To provide additional protection for the western front, several divisions have been transported from Schulmanicus and Tenne to Devonshire and East Atkinos. Additionally, BFA forces have set up outposts along the lengtthy Harar coast to mointor for enemy activity. Thus far, no enemy vessels have been sighted near Harar. Bolstering security in the southwest, Schulmauckland naval forces are commencing a joint military exercise in and near Huddleston Bay beginning June 1. Dubbed "Operation Cadbury Jaffa", this venture should help solidify defenses in the sparsely populated bay region.

    New territory being organized

Surveyors have been charting territory along the northwest shore of the Sea of Simtropolis and further into the unexplored interior. It is our plan to expand into this unclaimed territory bordering the nation of Schulmauckland. A line of demarcation between the nations has been established midway down the west coast and extending west to the horizon. The northern point of the sea will mark the end of the Regency of Wirdleonia and the eastern extremity of the new territory, yet to be named. Explorers have been dispatched from Smightower to  stake the claim and establish a border corssing into the new territory, which will be elevated into a Grand Duchy once it is populated.
