Huge new update due for release!

Sources inside the ruling elite indicate a massive new Schulmania chapter will be released on Friday June 15. This huge release will have plenty of photos of a new site in The Wirdleplex. Feeling industrious and overly curious? It is available as a sneak preview in the Simtropolis section of the National Archives on the Schulmania website.

    New Atkinos Changes Coin

After an extremely long run, the New Atkinos Council has voted to modernize the coinage design for the gold schulmoneta coin. The new design is still the town's signature bell tower. But, instead of a full view from top to bottom, the new design is a slightly offset view of the top of the tower. Let us know if you like the new design, slated to go into circulation June 15th.

    Coat of arms

As work winds up on the new national capital project, it is time to announce the name of the new city and show its official coat of arms. The new national capital will be known as Oak Ridge, named for the hill upon which the original capital sits. The transition to the new capital will be complete once the seat of government is officially transferred from Wirtyplace to the new Wirtyplace. (The original will be known as Old Wirtyplace and will continue to serve as the seat of power for the Kingdom of Schulmanicus.)

Its coat of arms is as shown below.

    Website Update

The Government of Schulmania website has been updated with several new bits of information, including updates on many pages and the 2011 State Visit gallery. And, as one can see by looking at the homepage, the new territory west of Wirdleonia has been incorporated as the Grand Duchy of Hornisse. We look forward to seeing more of this territory. Here are its emblems:
