I am pleased to report that Schulmania Volume 2 has set new records for viewership and comments. On May 15, 2012, Schulmania Volume 2 on Simtropolis got its 8027th comment, surpassing Volume 1 as the longest city journal on Simtropolis. And, later that day, Volume 2 recorded its 300,000th view, extending its lead over Volume 1 as the most widely read city journal.
Surveyors have been charting territory along the northwest shore of the Sea of Simtropolis and further into the unexplored interior. It is our plan to expand into this unclaimed territory bordering the nation of Schulmauckland. A line of demarcation between the nations has been established midway down the west coast and extending west to the horizon. The northern point of the sea will mark the end of the Regency of Wirdleonia and the eastern extremity of the new territory, yet to be named. Explorers have been dispatched from Smightower to stake the claim and establish a border corssing into the new territory, which will be elevated into a Grand Duchy once it is populated.
Next, the magnificent Basilica of St. Francis and St. Flora will be revealed. This structure, the largest church in Schulmania to date, sits on a secluded island in the Tenne River, in an enclosure accessible through Franciflorianopolis.
The next update of Schulmania will feature news of our patron saints, St. Francis and St. Flora. Be looking for it soon!
We are pleased to announce not only the Schulmania 1st Quarter 2012 posting awards are now up, but also that Volume 3 has now reached over 2000 comments, a first for the new CJ section in Simtropolis. Great stuff!

Plans are now underway for Schulmania's first war memorial, to be located at the site of the Little Castle Site in South Wirdleonia. Design planning is underway and soon fundraising will begin. It will be good to have a place to remember those lost in battle.
