Burrville, East Tenne

Burrville is a tranquil island town located in the middle of the mighty Tenne River. This agricultural center enjoys bridge access to the Tenne River Delta National Park.

Pearl of the Tenne River

The Isle of Burr sites in the middle of the Tenne River, just west of the Tenne River Delta National Park.  The small, fertile island is home to the village of Burrville, a small agricultural center in the heart of Tenne. Burrville is mostly filled with small farms and trees, with a commercial sector located near the southern shore. The town is connected with two bridges to surrounding islands.  The village is also the center for pearl fishing for Schulmania.

Market Street is from where the largest number of freshwater pearls in the nation originate. Jewelers from all over come here to get first pick of the lumpy, luminous prizes brought to the surface by experienced feline divers. Pearling is concentrated in the river between Burrville and Watts Bar, but three fourths of the harvest comes from right offshore.

A variety of crops are grown on most of the island’s soil, providing grains and vegetables to supplement the feline carnivorous diet. Burrville also produces an exotic variety of catnip, the Tenne Island Special, which is highly prized as potpourri and for seasoning. When it comes to both pearls and catnip, “Made in Burrville” is an unmatched hallmark of quality. What this small island lacks in size it makes up in its desirable qualities. A trip to Burrville is a trip into the heart of East Tenne… where the essence of Schulmania perfumes the very town itself.
