The site of Fort Wirt is among the ost ancient inhabited sites in the nation. Ruins dating back to the very foundation of civilization have been found in the area; some of which are preserved as a National Historic Site near the new town. The high hill overlooking the Tenne Sea was the site of the Supreme Wirdle’s weekend getaway until it was bombed by Queensferry in the initial phases of the war. Our leader was not in residence at the time but the area was a complete loss. To protect the heartland and consolidate military operations in the Western Theater, the military oversaw the construction of a massive castle on the pinnacle. This castle, Fort Wirt, is the command center and home base for all military in the sector bordering the Tenne Sea. The structure was built sympathetically to existing historic sites and sensitive natural areas, giving it a most unusual shape. In addition to the signature castle, the tow consists of barracks, civilian housing and a commercial district. The addition of civilian housing allows for expansion from the adjacent capital, which was nearly overrun with workers and residents as the military efforts against Queensferry led to massive expansion in the government. |
