Risa Beach, Atkinos

Schulmania’s first and pre-eminent resort town, Risa Beach pioneered the vacation destination concept in the nation and serves as the premier tourist destination in the nation.

Home of the Sand Wirdle

Risa began as a suburb of Schulmanidad, along the southern shore of the Tenne Sea. A luxury hotel was built, which became a sensation with visitors. Quickly becoming a draw for the region, the Risa area expanded and became a separate town from Schulmanidad. Incorporated as the town of Risa Beach, a rapid expansion program of additional residential, high-end commercial and tourist zones cemented the town’s role as chief vacation destination for the nation.

Looking for some sort of icon to distinguish Risa Beach from other seaside towns, the city council decided to build the Sand Wirdle— the largest sand sculpture in the world—in honor of the Supreme Wirdle.  The Sand Wirdle has been a huge success, spawning a cottage industry of Sand Wirdle themed accessories—everything from shirts and hats to snow globes and black velvet wall art.

In the increasingly competitive world of the hospitality industry, Risa Beach continues to grow and improve to meet the demands of consumers seeking great quality at affordable prices. As Schulmania develops international relationships, it is essential that Risa Beach position itself as a destination of distinction for vacationers across the nation, the world, and the Alpha Quadrant. Not satisfied being voted “Destination of the Millennium” by the Tourism Bureau, this town won’t be content until everyone thinks of “vacation” and the first image in their head is that of Risa.

The original Risa Resort is still a major draw, but many other facilities make this town a true destination.

The lengthy beaches make the town a draw for sun worshippers and sand castle builders.
