Schulmanukau was established at the end of the navigable section of the Wirdleonia River. The site had been discovered by the SchulmaniQuest Expedition, which found the source of the river. This, the largest city in Western Wirdleonia, serves as the district capital and western terminus of river traffic. As such, it serves as the gateway to the southwest. Explorations and settlements between here and the Sea of Simtropolis begin here and are intrinsically linked here. The city straddles both banks of the river and is linked by a pair of graceful stone bridges. The Left Bank is home to the government district as well as the Bureau of Feline Affairs regional office and the home office of the Wirdle’s Canine Council. The canine group serves to integrate Schulminion canines into our feline society and as an outreach to canine nations. The efforts of the council thus far have developed full diplomatic relations with Terra Canis and Schulmauckland, our neighboring nation to the southwest. Some of the distinctive features of the city include a soaring church, a renowned theater and large shopping centers. One of the most cherished features is The Domain, a large park on the Right Bank featuring sculptures, walking paths and manicured greens. Schulmanukau serves as a beacon of feline culture along the southwestern frontier and is well worth a visit. |
