Stell, Like Wirt, is one of the original four cities founded in Schulmania in prehistoric times. It was established as another farming town, but turned into a fishing community. It first started as a farming town, where many an apple was grown. And of course, with so many apples around, it was famous for it's various apple treats. It is also the town credited with creating apple bobbing, one of the first sports in Schulmania. It is not known why the town stopped growing apples, many believe it has something to do with the "Killer Tomato" scare of legend. But, at some point apple production stopped, and the town shifted over to fishing. It was the first town to start doing this, and as such quickly became popular, and led to the townsfolk becoming very prosperous. But, this led to the town creating taxes, 10% for Government needs, and 10% for town development. Some of the architectural features of this unique town are Schulmania firsts. One important building there is the Chapel of Our Lady Maxis. This Chapel was constructed in gratitude for the town’s prosperity and serves as one of the most significant ancient religious sites. The town’s rostrum serves as the first of its kind in the nation and has been copied in several other towns. Also, facing the sea, is a wall. This was built during the great Killer Tomato Scare, the first and only town with a wall until Schulmericho was built. The town has an upper and lower section; the lower town is original and the upper town is newer construction.

The walls around Stell were unique in Schulmania for millennia. Today, remnants encircle the coast adjacent to Old Town. |

The white rostrum occupies the center of Old Town. New Town is on the right, up the hill from the ancient center. |
