Schulmania has finally built an inland international port city! Trixie Port sits on the eastern shore of the Sea of Simtropolis, a large inland se a between Schulmania and Schulmauckland. This new port opens up the west to trade and development as well as cultural interaction with Schulmauckland and through that land, all of Simtropolis. Also, this city in the South Sea District provides a second access point to the Klingon island of Stovokor, a special administrative unit of Schulmania with high cultural value to the Klingon Empire. Trixie Port was built in time for the 2010 Trixie Season on Simtropolis. This new city is focused primarily upon cultural and commercial development. The largest and most important building in town is the Simtropolis Exchange. Here, tens of thousands of BAT, LOT and MOD units are bought, sold, traded, downloads and admired. To facilitate the free exchange of information and culture, Trixie Port is designated as a Free Trade Zone, Schulmania’s first. It is also the site of Schulmania’s first Bureau de Change. Thanks to frequent ferry connections to Port Felix (Schulmauckland) foreign currency and coins are often spotted. |
