Naval Forces

The Schulmania Navy is authorized by the Government of Schulmania to train and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas. The Schulmania Navy (navy) is an integral component of the Schulmania National Military (SNM) along with the Schulmania National Army (SNA) and the Schulmania Air Force (SAF). The navy is led by Chief Admiral Hestorb, who commands the fleets from naval headquarters.

 

The navy maintains a presence in three theaters of operation. The Western Theater comprises of the fleets deployed in the Tenne Sea and uses three home ports: Smightower (Northern Tenne Sea), East St. Paul (Southern Tenne Sea) and Knoxvegas (Tenne Contingency & Reserve Fleet). The Eastern Theater is comprised of east coast operations and originally had two home ports: Cape Eastway and Woods of Wayne.  The naval base at Cape Eastway was destroyed by Queensferry forces early in the war. Eastern naval forces later were regrouped and repositioned at several bases in the BFA-operated Wirdleplex. The Oceanic Theater includes naval operations in the open sea east of Schulmania and Harar and beyond. As mentioned below, it is centered around a base recently built in the Admiral Islands.

 

 

Several fleets are assigned to each theater of operations. Shipbuilding is done at the shipyards in Smightower, Schulmanidad, Darkel by the Sea and Woods of Wayne. New classes of warships are being designed and built in association with

the Office of Military Technology. Advances in wood and metal ship technology will allow the navy to operate a modern fleet of vessels ideally suited for a wide range of combat and support situations.
