The Military Intelligence Bureau (MIB) is a division of the Office of Internal Security (OIS). The MIB is the intelligence gathering arm of the military and coordinates surveillance, espionage and other sanctioned non-lethal activities. The MIB is tasked with providing military and government leaders with essential information to aid in informed decision making to benefit the operations of the military and in developing government policy.
The MIB handles all planned intelligence gathering and supervises intelligence analysis as well as safeguards the information gathered. Information gathered by the MIB includes operations-specific intelligence as well as general information gathering about civilian and military sectors of foreign governments. Government of Schulmania. At present, that would be the Queensferry Union. Should other nations pose a threat to our nation, MIB will assess that risk and perform necessary tasks to aid government and military decision makers in developing strategies and countermeasures.
MIB gathers tactical, technical, scientific, diplomatic and operational intelligence for analysis. |

The Office of Internal Security (OIS) coordinates security within the borders of Schulmania and its dependencies. Day-to-day law enforcement is conducted by the Special Police (SP), a branch of the OIS. The OIS reports to the Schulmania National Army but is not commanded by the army nor does it usually engage in military operations. The OIS is capable of coordinating domestic military operations with other branches of the military, but it is not heavily armed and that is not the OIS’ primary role.
OIS has been tasked with border control and maintaining customs checkpoints. OIS also controls detention facilities nationwide and assists local and regional governments with security training, coordination and procedures.
OIS also operates the Military Intelligence Bureau (MIB). The MIB collaborates with the national military as well as OIS. |

The Special Police (SP) are tasked with the day-to-day law enforcement and security needs of communities and regions. SP units conduct community patrols and respond to calls for assistance. Each town has a SP unit which reports to a regional SP unit in each capital. Regional SP commanders are appointed by the Director of the OIS and answer to the OIS.
SP units are tasked with maintaining order and assisting the public. Typically, the police will investigate citizen complaints and is empowered to arrest those who have violated Schulminion laws or decrees. Facilitating public safety and deterring crime are basic tasks of the police. |

Customs & Border Crossings
The Office of Internal Security operates border crossings and checkpoints at all Schulminion ports of entry. Incoming vessels to the east coast are expected to stop at the Admiral Islands for a customs inspection before proceeding. Uncleared vessels may be diverted to Bureau of Feline Affairs quarantine areas. Vessels from FIFA-affiliated nations will not require visas to continue to the east coast. Vessels from nations without diplomatic relations with Schulmania will need to obtain visas for every crew member before being permitted to continue. Citizens of nations with relationships in good standing with Schulmania will not require visas, but will need passports. |
