The Office of Military Technology is a subgroup under the Research and Development Task Force. This agency has been assigned the role of developing new military technology. Shown above is a complete set of feline armor, providing head to tail protection in battle. The lance is an innovation which will help our soldiers gain the upper hand in combat. |

The Office of Military Technology (OMT) is a weapons system research team under the direction of the Research & Development Task Force (RDTF). The OMT has been tasked with developing offensive and defensive weapons, along with other military equipment. The OMT has been given three priorities by top military officials:
1. Develop equipment to protect our personnel on the battlefield 2. Develop weapons system to allow us to neutralize enemy threats 3. Develop means to make military operations more efficient and effective
To meet these goals, OMT has military research centers in several locations across the nation. Each is closely linked with a nearby university. The RDTF has made the development of technology with military application a priority since the commencement of hostilities. A recent initiative launched by the RDTF has the OMT reverse engineering items received in trade or as gifts from foreign diplomatic delegations. Especially promising is the effort to harvest technological knowledge from a PADD device left in Schulmania by Pharaoh Lynx of Nekominkoku following the most recent coronation of the Supreme Wirdle.
The Bureau of Feline Affairs has issued an order specifying that all captured military technology be transferred to OMT units attached to the 29th Division. Specialists will analyze enemy technology both to improve our defenses and to compromise theirs. All regiments will have units responsible for ensuring that all military technology is processed properly and that none enters general society.
A TRT-led incursion into enemy-occupied territory off the east coast resulted in a trove of enemy technology delivered to the OMT for analysis. Using detailed observation records and technology samples, our scientists have developed a balloon-assisted aircraft, using contemporary technology to life a craft capable of delivering a more significant payload than the original hot air balloons used in combat. |
