Tactical Response Teams |

The Tactical Response Teams (TRT) are the special operations forces of the Schulmania National Military. The TRT is an autonomous division of the military, working on conjunction with other branches of the military but the TRT receive orders directly from the government. TRT typically engage in small-scale and/or clandestine military operations, often behind enemy lines. TRT members are highly trained and provided with the best armaments available. TRT operations are expected to be conducted with speed, efficiency and stealth. The nature of TRT operations necessitates a high degree of teamwork and self-sufficiency.
TRT are often dispatched for infiltration, reconnaissance and intelligence gathering missions. Teams also are capable of sabotaging enemy installations or attacking specific targets of strategic value.
TRT members are highly trained and receive additional training in militarily significant areas. All are qualified to use a wide range of armaments to accomplish their missions.

Squads of TRT are generally assigned to high risk missions, many of which would be beyond the capabilities of standard military training. Some of the tasks performed by TRT teams include hostage release, perimeter security for dignitaries, assault firepower, conducting raids and stabilizing volatile situations.
The TRT operate as an independent branch of the military, but often coordinate actions with the Schulmania National Army. For domestic security of high profile targets, the TRT will coordinate efforts with the Office of Internal Security. TRT teams do not operate domestically with the exception of security details for dignitaries. All members are recruited by military academy instructors who identify talent in new cadets. Upon recruitment, rigorous training commences and only those who perform at the highest levels will be selected to join the TRT. |
